Integra ROM Road Reconstruction

An extreme rainfall event in February 2009 caused saturation and subsequent slip failure of a major haul road fill embankment at Integra Coal. The mine subsequently ceased operations until a temporary haul road diversion was built. NMS was subsequently engaged to remove the existing fill embankment (80,000m3), supply and install 2 x 2100mm diameter, 125m long corrugated metal (CMP) culverts and reconstruct the haul road embankment in engineered fill.
